I haven't gotten around to replacing those with decent NiMhs. I cannot stand alkaline batteries, and haven't purchased any, in years. I rarely use it, though, since is still runs on the dreaded alkaline batteries, and all of my other compact lights still blow this one away, output-wise. Several years ago, I installed a TerraLux 1000 lumen upgrade (It's more like 700 out the front, but still worlds better than the stock incandescent bulb it had originally), and that worked wonders for that light. I have a 6D Maglite, that' s been around for a while. Thanks, most kindly, for sharing this video! There's lots of great information here, and a must-see, for those with older Maglite incandescent lights, who are looking for effective upgrades that don't require a lot of modifications to the light.
